Individual Therapy

Therapy can be emotionally challenging and also transformative. There are many different types of mental health treatment that exist - no matter what you might want to work on, one of the biggest predictors of therapeutic success is the quality of the client-therapist relationship. For this reason, I recommend choosing a professional who is not only trained and competent in treating your unique concerns, but also someone with whom you feel connected and safe.

I believe therapy should be a creative process that centres around personal values, and is most effective when the treatment plan is created collaboratively. My clients have said that they appreciate my ability to hold them accountable while also being flexible and compassionate. They share my value of using humour, when fitting, to take the power out of certain challenges, allowing them to feel more manageable.
